Today, many Polk County area funeral homes are part of a large chain or owned by out-of-state for-profit corporations. Gilley’s Family Cremation is proud to be family-owned and operated, with an office located in downtown Winter Haven.
Meet the Owners – Brian & Diana Gilley
Brian Gilley started working in Lakeland at a local funeral home in December 1988. Over 30 years, he worked at a number of funeral homes while earning his degree in Mortuary Science from St. Petersburg College. After college, Brian passed his State and National Board Examinations at the top of his class.
Licensed & Qualified
Prior to opening Gilley’s Family Cremation, Brian was employed as a State of Florida Licensed Funeral Director and a State of Florida Licensed Embalmer.
Having helped thousands of families, Brian understands how sensitive and important it is for your loved one to receive compassionate and proper care during your difficult time.
Brian is licensed to perform simple, direct cremations.
